RECIPE: PIE! Syn free PIE (using HEB)


35g Grape nuts (HEB)

100ml  fruit squash/ cordial (3 tbs is total amount including water its mixed in)


  1. Mix the squash in with the grape nuts and leave for a couple of minutes, allowing the cereal to absorb the liquid
  2. Squish the mix into a SMALL pie tin (or ramekin) and smooth it all out
  3. Spray with frylite
  4. Bake for 20 mins on 180 or until golden brown (I prefer the bottom a little bit soggy but keep an eye on it, you don’t want it to burn!)
  5. Remove from the oven and fill with whatever you like! So far my fave is chopped strawberries in white chocolate flavoured quark with caramel sauce on top.
