RECIPE: Quick and easy spaghetti/ courgetti Bolognese


500g extra lean mince beef

1 carton of pasata

½ carton chopped tomatoes

1 tsp minced garlic

1 chopped onion

Handful chopped mushrooms

2 tsp Italian herbs

½ tbs beef Bovril

1 beef oxo cube

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp salt

Dry spaghetti / courgetti


1) Brown the mince and the onion in a fry – lighted saucepan

2) Add the pasata, chopped tomatoes, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Bovril and oxo cube and Italian seasoning, leave to simmer (with saucepan lid on) for 5-10 mins. Put a saucepan of water on to boil with a pinch of salt. Once boiling, add the pasta/ courgetti

3) Add the chopped mushrooms and leave to simmer for another 5 mins

4) Serve!! Its always better when you add your healthy extra A allowance of cheese, obviously
